According to new a new report being circulated by CNN, President Donald Trump and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have not spoken to each other in five months.

That distancing will seemingly continue on Friday when the president makes the COVID-19 relief bill official during a signing ceremony, as he did not invite Pelosi to the event.

“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has not been invited by the White House to Trump’s signing ceremony, per aide. Pelosi and Trump have not spoken in more than five months, including during talks re stimulus package,” Daily Mail correspondent Hugo Lowell tweeted.

The bipartisan, $2 trillion piece of legislation was unanimously approved in the Senate and was overwhelmingly approved in the House.

However getting to a place where everyone was on board was not easy — partly due to Pelosi’s last-minute antics. At the eleventh-hour, the California representative flew into Washington D.C. and upended bipartisan talks in the senate after presenting an “ideological wishlist” that didn’t pertain to helping people amid the pandemic.

This, combined with Pelosi’s efforts to impeach the president late last year, is probably why Trump isn’t keen on having the disrupting House speaker present.

Currently, there are over 90,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the United States, with a vast majority of those coming from New York City, the epicenter of the U.S. outbreak.
